OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF GAMING INDUSTRY IN BULGARIA (AGIB)

BEGE WILL TAKE PLACE. FACTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN RUMORS.

For the past seventeen years, the Association of Gaming Industry in Bulgaria (AGIB) has proudly organized and developed the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE), alongside the Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS).

Throughout these years, we have overcome numerous challenges - including economic crises, legislative changes, the global pandemic, market disruptions, and repeated attempts to spread speculation. Despite all of this, BEGE and EEGS have taken place successfully every year thanks to the trust and support of our exhibitors, partners, visitors, and the gaming industry as a whole.

Today, Bulgaria is recognized as one of the leading and most influential gaming markets in the Balkans, spanning every major vertical of the industry - from land-based casinos and gaming halls to online gaming, live casino, sports betting, gaming technologies, payment solutions, software platforms, and gaming tourism. BEGE and EEGS have played a significant role in this development, bringing together leading companies, industry professionals, and investors from across the region and around the world for the past 17 years.

Over the past few months, false information regarding BEGE and EEGS 2026 has been deliberately circulated. AGIB is fully aware of the source of these rumors and the intentions behind them. We will not allow such actions to distract us from preparing the event, nor will we allow misinformation to undermine the trust that has been built over the past seventeen years.

Among the false claims being circulated is the allegation that BEGE will alternate between Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania, taking place in Bulgaria one year, Serbia and Romania the following years. We categorically state that this is false. BEGE will remain an international exhibition organized in Bulgaria, which is its home and the natural meeting place for the gaming industry in the region.

Therefore, we state clearly:

BEGE and EEGS 2026 WILL TAKE PLACE. Preparations are progressing according to plan, and both events will be held as scheduled.

Every day, we work closely with exhibitors, partners, speakers, institutions, and suppliers to deliver another successful edition of the region's leading gaming industry event.

The spread of unverified information serves neither the interests of the gaming industry nor those of Bulgaria. It creates unnecessary uncertainty for companies and partners planning their participation and contributes nothing to the continued development of our sector.

We encourage all industry stakeholders to rely solely on official information published by AGIB and the organizers of BEGE and EEGS. All important announcements, deadlines, participants, and organizational updates will be communicated exclusively through our official communication channels.

Over the years, BEGE has become a symbol of professionalism, resilience, and continuous growth. Its reputation has been built through hard work, trust, and consistency - qualities that cannot be undermined by rumors or speculation.
